BijliWise ("we," "our," or "us") operates the independent utility intelligence and electricity tariff platform at https://www.bijliwise.in. This Privacy Policy details our strict client-side data handling architecture, cookie practices, analytics telemetry, and Google AdSense compliance mechanisms.
1. Information We Collect & Process
BijliWise is engineered around a privacy-first, client-side execution model. When you use our calculators, meter reading converters, or solar modelers:
- No Account Registration Required: We do not require you to create an account, log in, or provide your real name, email, or telephone number to access any calculator or guide.
- No Server-Side Utility Account Storage: We do not ask for or store your physical consumer account number, electricity meter serial number, or Aadhaar credentials on our servers.
- Voluntary Communications: If you contact us via our Contact Form, we collect your name, email address, and inquiry text solely to respond to your editorial or tariff correction request. This information is never sold, leased, or shared with commercial marketers.
2. Browser Local Storage (Client-Side Persistence)
Unlike cookies, our web application utilizes browser HTML5 localStorage to remember your interface preferences locally on your own device. These values are never transmitted to our backend servers:

3. Telemetry & Google Analytics 4 (GA4)
We use Google Analytics (measurement ID: G-2RJNL1212B) to evaluate aggregate website traffic patterns, identify broken navigation routes, and monitor page performance across Indian telecom providers.
- Anonymous Technical Telemetry: GA4 collects non-personally identifiable telemetry such as browser type, operating system, referring URL, time spent per guide, and approximate geographic region (city/state level).
