In electricity cost calculation, accuracy is paramount. A small error in a slab rate or fixed charge invalidates a consumer's bill audit and damages consumer trust.

• Primary Sources Required: Every tariff schedule, slab boundary, and duty percentage published on BijliWise must trace directly to a verified State Electricity Regulatory Commission (SERC) tariff order, official DISCOM commercial circular, or state government gazette notification.
• No Heuristic Invention: If a regional DISCOM tariff order has not been published or verified, we will never invent or interpolate rates based on neighboring states. The route is clearly marked as Provisional / Ingestion in Progress and de-indexed from search engines until verified.
• Document Provenance: Where available, our tariff records display the source document title, order docket number, effective date, and document hash to allow users to verify the data against the regulator's portal.

BijliWise is an independent educational and calculation resource operated by Yogesh Banjara. We maintain absolute editorial autonomy:

• No Utility Affiliation: We are not owned, operated, endorsed, or financed by any state electricity board (SEB), distribution licensee (DISCOM), or regulatory commission.
• Advertising Disclosures: BijliWise is supported through programmatic display advertising (such as Google AdSense). Advertisements are clearly separated from calculation tools, tariff data, and editorial analysis.
• Zero Commercial Bias: Advertisers have no input into our tariff models, appliance consumption formulas, or consumer advice. We do not accept sponsored reviews or paid ranking placements for electrical appliances or solar equipment.

State electricity tariffs in India evolve through periodic Multi-Year Tariff (MYT) orders, true-up adjustments, and monthly fuel cost adjustments (FAC/FPPCA). Despite our rigorous verification pipeline, discrepancies may occasionally occur.

We adhere to a transparent correction workflow:

1. Reporting: Any user, consumer advocate, or utility officer can report a rate discrepancy via our Contact Form or by emailing editorial@bijliwise.in.
2. Verification SLA: Submissions are logged and investigated against official regulatory gazette filings within 48 business hours.
3. Public Resolution: If an error or outdated rate is confirmed, our engineering team updates the deterministic tariff engine, updates the page metadata, and records the revision in our version audit trail.

BijliWise does not use generative AI to synthesize or invent electricity tariffs. All calculations are executed by deterministic TypeScript engines adhering to strict mathematical formulas.

Where assistive tools (such as optical character recognition for bill parsing) are utilized, all outputs are validated against deterministic schema constraints before being presented to the user.
